Well, if it isn’t time again for Atlanta’s good ol’ rock & roll festival, that old Shaky Knees that hijacks an issue every spring. It’s a weird festival, a heady mix of punks with strollers, aging rockers, and new blood all gunning for the same shade in the 80-degree Georgian glare. I love it. Let’s talk headliners.
Another year, another Shaky Knees playlist! Light on text this week cause I'll be at the festival, but you can follow along at home, all of these songs are all-timers. I've been itching to give you guys "Seventeen" and "Pressure to Party" back-to-back for months.
Shaky Knees is a music festival with lots of guitars in Atlanta, Georgia. The music is not cool anymore, but I'm going to it this weekend, so I made a playlist full of the bands that will be there.
Back in April, Underground Atlanta hosted an edition of the Boiler Room, the renowned U.K.–based DJ event series that highlights local and upcoming artists for people to dance to and discover. Enjoy these local Atlanta musicians that were featured on the lineup. Stay cool out there—all things must pass eventually.
